Another year gone and yet another Barney Miller Classic is ready to hit the Sawtell beaches and showcase some of today's finest surfing talent. We are pleased to announce that Hogsbreath Café have jumped onboard as major sponsor and intend to take this contest to the next level. The contest has now also become the biggest on the North Coast surfing calendar. Last year was one of the smoothest run comps I have ever experienced with the help of WQS judges and contest Director. The dates set for this years contest are the 6th & 7th of November with the Charity Auction Night kick starting the weekend on Friday the 5th at Hogsbreath Café, Coffs Harbour. So begin praying for swell!
First up, and most importantly, the weekend raised over $20,000!!! In amongst the gargantuan effort from everyone involved, we also held an amazing surf competition and a swimsuit competition. Here's the results:
As apart of the annual Barney Miller Surf Classic we are holding a Charity Auction night at the Sawtell Hotel, with all money from the event going to local Billy Ross. Cost is $20 per head including beer on entry, gourmet finger food & ticket into the big lucky door prize. Tickets can be purchased before hand from Sawtell Hotel or at the door on the night.

For the first time ever we are holding a Miss Barney Miller Swimsuit competition presented by local designer Jade Kohl. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd, plus all contestants will recieve a free designer swimsuit and kaftan.
Barney and the Classic crew are asking for anyone who can help or know someone who may be able to donate items for the Auction Night. This is where the majority of the funds will be raised for our 2009 recipient, Billy Ross Jnr.
